| Do you have thyroid problems? Have you been put on thyroid medicine but still don’t feel right? Are you lab tests coming back ‘normal’ but you are still having symptoms?
You may have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis! This is an auto immune disease and is one of the most common causes of hypo (low) thyroid in the United States.
How do you know if you have it? You need to get your Anti-TPO and Anti- TG levels checked. These are not always checked when you have thyroid testing. In fact usually it’s just your TSH that is checked. You need to the Free T3 and Free T4 checked as well.
Get your adrenals checked as well! The adrenals ‘feed’ the thyroid so if your adrenal function is not optimal then this will affect thyroid too.
