Your Beautiful Skin.
As we age and go through menopause our skin changes with us. In some areas of our body our skin changes more than others. We get thinning skin on our hands, under our eyes and we also get thinning in the tissues of our vagina. When this tissue thins we get vaginal dryness, painful intercourse and have an increase risk of getting infections such as yeast and other bacteria. Estrogen and progesterone are our friends when this starts to happen. Estrogen, specifically, changes the thickness and 'plumpness' of our skin so the fine lines on our face aren't as noticeable.
If you are having symptoms of vaginal dryness and dry thinning skin then please come in and have your estrogen levels checked.
