Kimbrough began her love for fitness competing in gymnastics. She is a Washington State University Graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and a Minor in Dance. She was President of Orchesis Dance Honorary performing Ballet, Modern and Jazz dance.
Kimbrough received her Boot Camp Fitness Trainer Certification through NESTA, National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association, in July 2004. She started her company, Eastside Adventure Boot Camp for Women and has had over 250 women attend her early morning Boot Camp program. Through her growing passion for running she found a great need for a running program on the Eastside. She received her Running Coach Certification through NESTA, and has been inspired by her continued training and support with the Arthritis Foundation beginning in 2001. She ran the Kona marathon in 2002, has completed numerous 5K Events, trained this past spring for the Five for Five Program (Five months of training completing Five Races).
Kimbrough has completed the S.A.I.L. (Stay Active & Independent for Life) Exercise Instructor Trainings, through the Northwest Orthopedic Institute. She is CPR and First Aid Certified. She is also working on her Nutrition Coach certification through NESTA.
