How to Create More Space  

Creating more space is one of the toughest issues when trying to get organized. Here are some ideas:

• Purge – take everything out of the space, touch every single item and make a decision to keep it or toss/donate it.
• Store like with like- make sure that similar items are stored together. They will most likely be of similar size and will best fit together in the space.
• Contain it properly- make sure that you have the right container. Don’t use cardboard boxes, as they are often not the right size and aren’t easy to access or see what is inside.
• Space Bags- consider using space bags for pillows, linens, coats, and out of season items.
• Think up- is there space on a wall that you could put shelves or a cupboard to store items?
